Braised Beetroots and Onions (betteraves aux oignons) Recipes
Ingredients :
1 medium onion
3oz butter
1lb cooked beetroot, sliced
salt, pepper
3.5 fl oz cream
Method :
Peel and chop the onions very finely. Heat
the butter in a saucepan and gently fry the onion until transparent. Add
the beetroot and leave to cook over a low heat for 10 minutes. Add salt
and pepper, and a few minutes before serving stir in the cream. Do not
let the cream boil.
