Cauliflower Oriental Recipes

Ingredients :

1 medium cauliflower

2 tbsp butter

1 medium onion, finely chopped

1/2 cup chopped celery

1 cube chicken bouillon

1 cup hot water

1/4 cup cold water

1 tbsp cornstarch

1 tbsp soya sauce

2 tbsp finely chopped parsley

Method :

Wash cauliflower and break into florets. Drop into boiling salted water and cook until just tender, about 10 minutes. Heat butter in saucepan while cauliflower is cooking. Add onion and celery and cook gently 5 minutes, stirring. Add bouillon cube and hot water and bring to a boil. Combine cold water, cornstarch and soya sauce, stirring until smooth and stir into boiling liquid gradually. Boil 1 minute. Stir in parsley. Put cauliflower in serving dish, pour sauce over and over.
