Starter's Muesli Recipes

Ingredients : |
150g
oatmeal
1 tbsp
brown sugar
15g
desiccated coconut
45g mixed
dried fruit - apple, apricot, sultanas
1 tbsp
chopped nuts
30g wheat
flakes
30g bran
granules |
Method :
- Combine oatmeal and sugar.
- Spread out on a baking sheet.
- Place under a medium grill.
- Grill the oatmeal mixture,
stirring frequently, until lightly browned.
- Add coconut, stir, and continue
grilling until mixture is an even golden color.
- Remove muesli from the grill.
- Leave to cool.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Serve with milk or low fat natural
yoghurt.
- Use stewed or chopped fresh fruit
as a topping.
