Stir Fried Vegetables Cooking Recipes

Ingredients :

sesame seeds

spring onions

broccoli

red capsicum

yellow capsicum

button mushrooms

oil

sesame oil

clove garlic, crushed

grated fresh ginger

soy sauce

honey

sweet chili sauce

Method :
  1. Place the sesame seeds on a baking tray and toast under a hot grill until golden.
  2. Finely slice the spring onions.
  3. Cut the broccoli into small florets.
  4. Cut the capsicums in half, and cut into thin strips.
  5. Cut the mushrooms in half.
  6. Heat the oils in a wok or large frying pan.
  7. Add the garlic, ginger and spring onion.
  8. Stir fry over medium heat for 1 minute.
  9. Add the broccoli, capsicum and mushrooms.
  10. Stir fry for a further 2 minutes, or until the vegetables are just tender but still bright in color.
  11. Combine the soy sauce, honey and sweet chili sauce in a bowl and mix well.
  12. Pour the sauce over the cooked vegetables, and toss lightly to combine.
  13. Sprinkle with the toasted sesame seeds.

Serves 4

Preparation : 15 minutes

Cooking : 8 minutes
