Spinach Salad Cooking Recipes

Ingredients :

500 g



155 g

For the dressing :

60 ml


1 tbsp

young spinach

large Spanish onion

hard boiled eggs

black olives


soured cream

medium size onion, chopped

red wine vinegar

salt and pepper

Method :
  1. Wash and dry the spinach.

  2. Remove the fibrous stems and center leaf veins.

  3. Slice the onion and eggs into rings.

  4. Mix all the ingredients together and toss with the dressing.

  5. To make the dressing: In a blender or liquidizer, combine the soured cream and onion until smooth and set aside in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

  6. Add the vinegar and season with salt and pepper.

If using fresh spinach, thoroughly wash it through several changes of cold water to remove all the grit and dirt.
