Hawaiian Salad Recipes
1 can (375
g) crushed pineapple drained, juice kept for drinks
carrots, peeled, grated
white cabbage, very finely shredded
coarsely shredded coconut (thickish strips as apposed to desiccated),
- Tip drained pineapple into a bowl.
- Add carrots, 50 g raisins, white
cabbage and toss with sufficient French dressing to moisten.
- Transfer to a salad bowl then
sprinkle with coconut and remaining raisins.
Very much an 'all thins bright and
beautiful' salad, highly recommended for poultry and burgers.
Serves 4 - 6
