Desert Sands Fruit Salad Recipe

Ingredients :

2 large oranges, peeled, all white pith removed, sliced

175 g grapes, halved, pips removed

175 g fresh dates, skins and stones removed, halved

2 large bananas

40 g pine nuts

4 tbsp apricot brandy

1/2 tsp rose essence

1 tbsp lemon juice

Method :
  1. Cut oranges into small wedges, put into bowl.

  2. Add grapes and halved dates.

  3. Peel bananas and slice directly into bowl.

  4. Stir in remaining ingredients, cover.

  5. Refrigerate 3-4 hours.

  6. Bring back to room temperature before serving with sponge cakes or fingers.

Note :

An exotic winter fruit salad, fragrant with rose essence and apricot brandy.
