Banana and Peanut Cream Salad Recipes

Ingredients :

4 large bananas

lemon juice

4 lettuce lined plates

2 tbsp chunky peanut butter, at kitchen temperature

2 rounded tbsp soured cream

1.5 tbsp fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)

1/2 tsp celery salt


Method :
  1. Peel bananas.
  2. Cut diagonally into thick slices.
  3. Sprinkle with lemon juice then put 1 sliced banana on to each plate.
  4. For dressing, beat together peanut butter, soured cream and lime juice.
  5. Season with celery salt and extra salt as desired.
  6. Spoon over bananas then garnish by sprinkling with paprika.

Note :

Nestling beneath a peanut butter dressing, these salads go extremely well with fish, poultry and offal dishes.

Serves 4 - 6
