Corn and Potato Puffs Recipes

Ingredients :

canned corned kernels, drained

medium-sized potatoes, cooked and dry mashed

red capsicum (pepper), seeded and finely diced

spring onions, finely diced

plain flour

fruit chutney

natural (unflavored) yoghurt

egg, beaten

cloves garlic, crushed

oil for deep-frying

Method :
  1. In a bowl, combine drained corn with potato, capsicum, spring onions, flour, chutney, yoghurt, egg and garlic.
  2. Heat oil in a pan.
  3. Fry spoonfuls of the mixture until golden.
  4. Drain on crumpled kitchen paper towels.
  5. Serve as a snack or a meal accompaniment.
