Caramel Corn Cooking Recipes

Ingredients :

1 cup

8 tbsp

1/4 cup

1/2 tsp

1/2 tsp

5 quart

packed brown sugar

butter

corn syrup

salt

baking soda

popped popcorn

Method :
  1. Put the brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt in a 2 quart glass measure.
  2. Microwave on high 100% for 2 minutes until the butter melts.
  3. Stir and microwave on high 100% for 11/2 minutes more.
  4. Take the measure from the microwave and stir in the baking soda.
  5. Spray the inside of the brown paper bag with vegetables cooking spray.
  6. Put the popcorn in the bag and pour the syrup over the popcorn.
  7. Fold over the top of the bag.
  8. Microwave on high 100% for 45 seconds.
  9. Remove the bag from the microwave and shake well.
  10. Repeat the procedure 2 more times for a total for 21/4 minutes.
  11. Spread the caramel corn on wax paper to cool.
