Nut Stuffed Eggs Recipes
8 Grade 1
or 2 eggs
tbsp thick mayonnaise
tbsp soured cream
hazelnuts, finely chopped
can (about 90 g) tuna, drained and finely mashed
onion slices separated into rings
orange lumpfish "caviar' (sold in jars and often called mock caviar)
- Hard-boil eggs then shell and
- Carefully remove yolks and put
- Mash finely then mix in
mayonnaise, soured cream, lemon juice, mustard, hazelnuts and mashed
- Mound smoothly into egg white
halves then garnish each with 1 or 2 onion rings and either the
orange lumpfish caviar or olives.
- Arrange on a lettuce lined plate.
Makes 16 halves
