Asian Greens Cooking Recipes

Ingredients :

500 g

800 g

1/3 cup

2 tsp

baby bok choy

Chinese broccoli

oyster sauce

sesame oil

Method :
  1. Wash the bok choy and broccoli thoroughly, and shake off the excess water.
  2. Trim the ends and roughly chop into large pieces.
  3. Cut the bok choy stems in half lengthways if they are very thick.
  4. Place the broccoli pieces in a steamer, preferably bamboo, over a pan of simmering water.
  5. Cover and steam for 5-6 minutes.
  6. Add the boy choy stems, cover and steam for another 2 minutes.
  7. Transfer the cooked vegetables to a serving bowl.
  8. Pour in the oyster sauce and toss gently to coat the bok choy and broccoli.
  9. Serve the vegetables drizzled with the sesame oil.

Serves 4

Preparation : 5 minutes

Cooking : 10 minutes
