Hashed Brown Potatoes Recipes

Ingredients :


1 tbsp

1/4 tsp

2 tbsp

baking potatoes

finely chopped onion


butter or margarine

Method :
  1. In saucepan, thoroughly mix gelatin, 2 tbsp sugar and salt.

  2. Beat together egg yolk and milk; stir into gelatin mixture.

  3. Cook and stir over low heat till slightly thickened.

  4. Add vanilla; chill till partially set.

  5. Beat egg white to soft peaks; fold into gelatin mixture.

  6. Fold in whipped cream, chopped chocolate, and pecans.

  7. Spoon into sherbets.

  8. Chill at least 2 hours.

  9. Garnish with additional pecans just before serving.

Serves 2-3
