Roasted Onions with Balsamic Vinegar Recipes
6 large red onions
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp chopped thyme
1 tbsp chopped rosemary
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tsp coriander seeds, crushed
4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
4 tbsp red wine
1 tbsp clear honey
salt and pepper
- Cut the onions into 8 from the
stalk to the root without cutting all the way through and press
- Combine the oil, herbs, garlic,
coriander seeds and seasoning.
- Drizzle over the onions, place in
oven 425F, gas mark 7, 30 minutes.
- Mix vinegar, wine, honey together,
pour a little over each onion and bake for 25-30 minutes until the
onions become tender.
- Ready to serve with glazed juices.
