Wild Mushroom Saute with Leeks Recipes

Ingredients :

1 tbsp olive oil

4 cups sliced mushrooms (morels, chanterelles, porcinis, shiitakes, or other)

2 cups sliced leeks, with green tops

1 tsp sea salt

1/2 tsp white pepper

4 garlic cloves, minced

1/2 cup finely chopped fresh basil

Method :

Heat oil in a medium skillet and sauté mushrooms, leek, salt, pepper, and garlic until mushrooms are tender. Stir in basil, and cook just until basil wilts. Serve immediately as a side dish or appetizer.

A real taste treat for mushroom lovers. Leeks and lots of garlic combine with basil and smoky wild mushrooms in this hearty, tantalizing appetizer.
