Preheat the
oven to moderate 180C. Line a baking tray with foil. Sprinkle the sesame
seeds over the prepared tray and cook for 10 minutes or until golden. Wipe
the mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove the stalks. Put the mushrooms
in a shallow dish. Combine the teriyaki sauce, mirin, sugar, chives and
sesame oil. Pour over the mushrooms and allow to stand for 5 minutes.
Place the
mushrooms on a baking tray, brush with half the marinade and grill under a
preheated hot grill for 5 minutes. Turn the mushrooms over, brush with the
remaining marinade and grill for another 5 minutes or until browned.
Garnish the mushrooms with the roasted sesame seeds and chopped chives to
serve.
