Tofu Spinach Souffle Recipes

Ingredients :

500g

oil or ghee

dried thyme

dried oregano

tofu

water

kelp powder

freshly ground black pepper to taste

whites

Method :
  1. Remove the stalks from the spinach and wash well.
  2. Chop very finely with a sharp knife or in a food processor.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan, cook the spinach for 5 minutes with the thyme and oregano.
  4. Drain off excess liquid by pressing between two plates.
  5. Process tofu with water and help in a food processor or blender with pepper.
  6. Blend with the spinach.
  7. Allow to cool.
  8. Whisk egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  9. Gently fold them through the spinach mixture.
  10. Lightly oil a soufflé dish.
  11. Fill wish the spinach mixture.
  12. Bake in a moderately hot oven 190C (375F) for 30-35 minutes or until it is well risen and firm to the touch.
  13. Serve immediately wish salad or vegetables.
