Red Cabbage with Sour Cream Cooking Recipes

Ingredients :

sunflower oil

red cabbage, shredded

onion, peeled and chopped

clove garlic, crushed

tomato puree

freshly squeezed lemon juice

sour cream

Method :
  1. Heat oil in a large fry pan.
  2. Add cabbage, onion and garlic.
  3. Sauté until the cabbage has wilted.
  4. Add tomato puree and lemon juice.
  5. Cover and simmer for approximately 10 minutes or until tender.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Stir in sour cream immediately before serving.
  8. This dish goes well with meat rissoles.
