Fennel Sauté Cooking Recipes

Ingredients :

60g

1 tbsp

heads fennel

butter or margarine

chopped fresh parsley

freshly ground black pepper, to taste

grated rind and juice 1/2 lemon

fresh chives, to garnish

Method :
  1. Wash fennel, cut into thin slices from top to bottom.
  2. Melt the butter in a pan.
  3. Add the fennel, cover and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the lid.
  5. Cook for a further 5 minutes.
  6. Transfer to a serving dish.
  7. Keep warm.
  8. Add all the remaining ingredients to the pan.
  9. Heat through, pour over the fennel.
  10. Serve garnished with chives.

Serve 4
