Cabbage Medley Recipes

Ingredients :

125ml water

1 chicken stock cube, crumbled

1 tsp curry powder

1 large onion, finely chopped

90g French beans, topped and tailed

juice of 1 lemon

250g cabbage, finely shredded

Method :
  1. Add the water to a large frying pan and heat.
  2. Add crumbled stock cube, curry powder and onion.
  3. Simmer gently until onion softens.
  4. Add beans, cover pan, simmer gently for 5 minutes.
  5. Add lemon juice and cabbage.
  6. Cover pan and simmer gently, over medium heat, for a further 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
  7. Serve hot, as a main dish or accompaniment.

Serves 4 - 6
