Tandoori Potatoes Cooking Recipes

Ingredients :

1 kg

a pinch

5 ml

potatoes (large), peeled

red chili powder

garam masala

lemon juice

cashew nuts, chopped


clarified butter (ghee)

cottage cheese (paneer), grated

chaat masala

oil for frying

salt to taste

Method :
  1. Scoop out the centers of the potatoes.
  2. Deep fry shells and centers separately till the sides become crisp.
  3. Allow centers to cool and mash.
  4. Mix together mashed potatoes, salt and red chili, garam masala, lemon juice, cashew nuts, raisins and clarified butter.
  5. Fill the potato cases with this and top up with cottage cheese.
  6. Skewer 4 pieces each, per skewer and grill till golden brown in color.
  7. Sprinkle chaat masala and serve hot, garnished with chopped coriander.

Preparation Time : 20 minutes
