Sesame Seed Coated Cheese Kebabs Recipes

Ingredients :

cottage cheese, finely grated

cardamom (elaichi) powder

garam masala

green chilies, chopped

green coriander, chopped

mace (javitri) powder

onions, finely chopped

white pepper powder

yellow or red chili powder

yoghurt, drained

gram flour (besan) or corn flour

sesame (til) seeds

egg white (optional)


salt to taste

Method :
  1. Combine ingredients except gram flour or corn flour.
  2. Mix with wooden spoon and season to taste.
  3. Now add the gram flour or corn flour and mix for 2 minutes.
  4. Divide the mixture into 20 equal balls.
  5. Compress each ball slightly to get a 4 cm round patty.
  6. Refrigerate the patties for 20 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and shallow fry until crisp and golden in color.
  8. Alternatively, you could lightly coat each patty with beaten egg white, before sprinkling with sesame seeds and frying.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with cucumber, tomato and onion slices and accompanied by Mint Chutney.
