Peas Pulao Cooking Recipe

Ingredients :

400 g

200 g

10 ml

10 g

rice, basmati

fresh peas, boiled


cumin (jeera) seeds

salt to taste


Method :
  1. Clean, wash and soak the rice for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pot, sauté the cumin seeds till they crackle.
  3. Add the boiled peas and salt.
  4. Stir fry for a few minutes and set aside.
  5. Put water to boil in a big pot, cook the rice, drain excess water.
  6. Gently fold the peas into the rice and serve hot, accompanied by any curry dish.

Serves 4 - 5

Preparation time : 5 minutes

Dessert time : 30 minutes
