Tangy Potato Dish Cooking Recipes

Ingredients :

potatoes, peeled

mint, fresh

lemon juice

green chilies

green coriander, chopped

oil

ginger paste

garlic paste

cumin (jeera) powder

coriander powder

red chili paste

salt to taste

Method :
  1. Blend together fresh mint, lemon juice, green chilies and green coriander into a purée.
  2. Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan.
  3. Add ginger garlic pastes and potatoes.
  4. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add cumin, coriander powder and red chili paste.
  6. Stir fry, add salt and water (250 ml).
  7. Bring to a boil and simmer till potatoes are cooked.
  8. Add the blended pureed and stir fry for 4-5 minutes.
  9. Add salt and serve at once.
