Spinach Potato Delight Cooking Recipes

Ingredients :

spinach (palak), finely chopped

potatoes, boiled, cubed

water

maize flour (makke ka atta)

clarified butter (ghee)

onions, chopped

ginger, chopped fine

green chilies, chopped

cream

salt to taste

Method :
  1. Boil spinach in salted water for 10 minutes, drain excess water and purée the spinach.
  2. Reheat spinach purée, add potato and mix well.
  3. Add maize flour slowly and cook for 10 minutes.
  4. In a separate pan, heat the clarified butter and brown the onions with half the ginger.
  5. Add green chilies and sauté for 1 minute.
  6. Pour this over the potato spinach mixture, stir well and bring to boil.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with julienned ginger and cream.
