Potatoes and Spinach Recipes

Ingredients :

750 g

250 g

1 tsp

1 tsp

2 cm

1/2 tsp

1 tbsp

potatoes, scraped and quartered

spinach, chopped

turmeric powder

garam masala

piece ginger, shredded fine

chili powder


salt to taste

Method :
  1. Heat ghee in a pan and fry the ginger for a few minutes.
  2. Add turmeric, chili powder and salt and stir for a minute.
  3. Add potatoes and fry briskly for a few minutes.
  4. Reduce heat, cover and simmer till potatoes are almost done (about 10-15 minutes).
  5. Add the spinach and cook uncovered for 15 minutes.
  6. Add the garam masala and stir well.
  7. Serve hot.
