Mixed Vegetable Raita Cooking Recipes

Ingredients :

a pinch

yoghurt

cumin (jeera) seeds

coriander seeds

black peppercorns

cucumber, chopped

green chili, finely chopped

mint, chopped

onions, chopped

tomatoes, chopped

chili powder to sprinkle

salt to taste

Method :
  1. Heat a tawa (griddle) and broil cumin, coriander seeds and pepper till dark and aromatic.
  2. Pound and keep aside.
  3. Whisk yoghurt with salt.
  4. Add and mix all chopped vegetables.
  5. Sprinkle red chili powder and refrigerate for 1/2 hour.
  6. Serve, as an accompaniment to any curry dish and rice.
