Method :
- Wash the ladies' fingers, remove
the stalks and slice into bite sized pieces.
- Heat the vegetable oil to a
moderate temperature and fry the panch phora for a minute.
- Add the onion and continue to fry
until the onion turns golden.
- Put in the turmeric powder, chili
powder, garam masala and salt.
- Add the ladies' fingers, stir
well, cover and cook until it is soft but not mushy.
- Serve as a vegetable accompaniment
to rice or chapatis.
