Whole Meal Pastry Recipes

Ingredients :

200g wheat meal flour

90g wheat germ

60g butter or margarine

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup milk

Method :
  1. Mix wheat meal and wheat germ and cut in the butter.
  2. When the mixture resembles fine crumbs, add salt and milk.
  3. Use only enough milk to make the dough workable - use too much and you will have to add more flour.
  4. This pastry is unleavened and will not be as short as wholegrain or wheat meal pastry.
