Mix the peanut butter with half
the water and work into the dry ingredients.
Add more water if necessary to
make a soft but firm dough.
Divide the dough into 4 pieces.
Put a piece of dough on to a sheet
of baking parchment well sprinkled with wholemeal flour.
Roll out gently to a rectangle
about 12 x 9" (30 x 22.5 cm).
Invert the dough on to a baking
sheet and carefully peel off the baking parchment.
Repeat with a second piece of
dough on the other baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes until crisp
and golden brown.
Cool, break into pieces and store
in an airtight container.
Repeat with remaining dough.
Note :
If preferred, the dough may be cut into
small shapes, examples stars or hearts with cutters before baking. A
delicious change from processed cereals which is filling and tasty and
which appeals to children. Serve with milk and some dried fruit if
liked.
