Cooking Instructions :
For normal rice - Add 2 cups of water for every cup of rice into the rice cooker. If softer textured rice is preferred, pre-soaked the rice in water for any length of time from 15 minutes to one hour.
For porridge or rice congee - Add 10 cups of water for every cup of rice into the rice cooker and boil for about 45-50 minutes.
For additional flavor - Add 1/2 tbsp of salt to the rice. Alternatively, gently roast the rice on a wok or frying pan for a few minutes before cooking.
