Ingredients :

225 g desiccated coconut

225 g vegetable margarine

225 g clear honey

1 muesli recipe

Method :
  1. Put the muesli into a large bowl.
  2. Stir in the coconut.
  3. Melt the margarine and honey over low heat.
  4. Stir into the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  5. Lightly grease a roasting tin.
  6. Sprinkle in the mixture but do not press down.
  7. Bake at 190C/375F, gas mark 5 for 20 minutes, stirring frequently, until the mixture is evenly colored and crisp.
  8. Leave until cold.
  9. Store in the airtight container.

Note :

This lightly toasted cereal has a deliciously nutty flavor and texture. It is served with milk, cream or yoghurt.
