Bran Buns Recipes

Ingredients :

125 g wholemeal plain flour

75 g bran

2 tbsp soya flour

2 tsp baking powder

pinch of salt

300 ml natural yoghurt

2 egg

2 tbsp clear honey

2 tbsp vegetable oil

Method :
  1. Preheat oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6.
  2. Oil 18-24 bun tins.
  3. Stir together the flour, bran, soya flour, baking powder and salt.
  4. Gradually beat in the yoghurt, eggs, honey and oil.
  5. Beat well.
  6. The mixture should just drop from a spoon.
  7. Half fill the bun tins.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Cool on a wire rack.

Little brown buns which are full of goodness, and which are particularly delicious at breakfast time.
