Corn Bitters Recipes

Ingredients :

30g corn, coarsely ground

1 1/2 cup water

1 grapefruit

1 tbsp butter

Method :
  1. Put the cornmeal to cook with the water.
  2. Peel the grapefruit, removing all pith.
  3. Deseed the fruit and place in a blender until pulped.
  4. Stir into the cornmeal and bring again to the boil.
  5. Cook for 20 minutes stirring all the while and lastly stir in the butter.
  6. Eat as is, or use a few dabs of raw sugar.

Serves 4 - 6
