Breakfast Mush Recipes

Ingredients :

1 tbsp ground millet

1 tbsp buckwheat

pinch salt

1 cup water

1 tbsp golden syrup

juice of 1 lemon

1 tbsp wheat germ

Method :
  1. Stir boil the millet, buckwheat and salt in the water for 10 minutes.
  2. The mixture should become stiff so you may need a little more water.
  3. Remove from the heat and stir in a bare tbsp of golden syrup, juice of a lemon and lastly, the wheat germ.
  4. Double or increase the quantities as required and if you have a liking for its somewhat bitter flavor try molasses instead of syrup.

Serves 1 - 2
